Metro Solutions at Data Management & Information Quality Conference in London
November 2004: April Reeve spoke at the Data Management & Information Quality Conference in London this month. The subject of the speech was the Data Management role in purchased package implementation. This is new area of relevance at these conferences and particular interest was paid by the participants to the subject of package data model assessment, as opposed to the traditional subject of data model creation. May 2004: April Reeve spoke at the DAMA International annual conference in Los Angeles this month on the topic of managing an IS Architecture team. Her speech was a case study of the success of Wyeth Consumer Healthcare in its efforts during the last few years. The key message of the speech was that Wyeth found success by having its Architects provide real value and play real roles in the key projects in the IS portfolio as well as provide strategic planning for the organization.
